I rebuilt my life at 43 with a 25kg suitcase.
I knew that terrain intimately. In 2014, I arrived in Milan from Australia with one bag, a new country, and a version of myself I no longer fully recognised.
I didn’t need saving. I needed to re-find her — my identity, my style, my essence — and rebuild it without losing who I was. That decision became the foundation of everything I create.
I know what it feels like to stand in front of a mirror in a strange city and not recognise yourself. To have left everything behind and have to rebuild — from the inside out.
